We specialize in Wild Coho Salmon and Steelhead on The world famous Karluk
River. our guest's have had a very high success rate on Kodiac Island fly
fishing trips.
These Sea
duck Hunting trips run 6 days all-inclusive with meals, lodging and 4 days
of fully guided hunts to include boats, blinds & decoys. We will meet you
at the airport when you arrive at island X and will transport you and your
gear to the hunting camp. That afternoon we will tour the island for
around 2 hours and check out our shore blind
locations for sea ducks working the area. After returning
from the tour we will have
a
nice dinner and talk about the following days hunt. We have 3-4 King
Eider hunters per week in this remote
island location
and we rotate daily between our 3 shore blind locations and offer near
shore drifting
boat hunts over
decoys for sea ducks when weather and winds permit.

Your fishing day
on Kodiak for Alaska Salmon and Steelhead will start around
7:00 with a hot breakfeast before leaving the camp
with your guide in your boat or Airplane. The day will end,
returning to camp by Dark around 5:30 p.m. where you can get cleaned up
and have a nice dinner around 7:00 p.m. After dinner you can
watch tv or chat with your guides about the following
days hunts or just
relax and have a cocktail and lounge around camp and tell stories. On day
6 your departure day, we have a normal
breakfast pack up and get ready for a 2pm departure and
Say good-bye to all your new friends, Guide gratuities of
10% are paid at the end of the trip to Staff in check or
cash. You will fly back to Anchorage Airport and check in
your luggage, catching a flight back to the lower 48 .
Booking a Kodiak Island fly fishing trip
To book a Sea duck hunting
adventure with
Aleutian Island Waterfowlers we require a 50% deposit upon
confirming your dates all trips are booked through Alaska
Adventures our reservation company, the balance is due by
Dec 1st and made payable directly to Alaska Adventures. Due to the the nature of these trips they are
non refundable unless we have to cancel them due to
acts of god. We strongly recommend travel insurance
to
protect yourself in case of emergency cancellations or
travel interuptions.
Due to the extremely
remote locations that we fish on Kodiak Island occasionally we have weather
delays or canceled chartered flights to larsen bay from
kodiak. We cannot
be held responsible for these flight or for any added
expenses occurred by you in Kodiak city or Anchorage or missed flight going
home. If delayed once in camp we will accommodate our
guest's at no additional charge.
