Some of the most beautiful  and impressive building in New York City were built along 5th Avenue.

The buildings shown in this Phototour were built from the turn of the last century until the Depression.

We start at W. 23rd Street and walked down Fifth Avenue to 14th Street.

Looking north from 23rd Street we see the Empire St. Building at 34th and Fifth.

To the right is Madison Park and the New York Life Insurance Building.
