Canal Street - Untamed NYC
The west side of Canal Street leads into the Holland Tunnel, one of the several ways to drive to New Jersey. The east side of Canal Street stands the Manhattan Bridge, which allows cars from Brooklyn to clog up Canal Street as they fight their way to the Holland Tunnel.

The Number 1,9, A, C, and E subways stop on Canal Street on the west side. The photos are in order of walking east. South of Canal lies the Wall Street area while north sprawls SoHo.

Cars waiting to enter the Holland Tunnel going to New Jersey. Patience is a virtue all along Canal Street.

A small park on the north side of the street.

Yes, diners exist in NYC. Just a block north.

All along Canal are food vendors. The closer you walk to the east, the more Chinese the food becomes.

Within a block or so these shops, like holes in the wall, start appearing.

It's a miniature about 24" tall.
