To set up a hosting account, please choose one of the following
options:
A non-shared, search-engine-friendly unique IP
address will be assigned to your account:
You won't get that for $10.95 anywhere else. Having your own IP
address eliminates the possibility of your web site being penalized
by the search engines for spam-dexing done by other sites sharing
your IP.
Try this: Go to a DOS Command Prompt and ping your domain.
syntax: ping yourdomain.com
Type the IP number displayed - something like 207.145.23.45 - directly
in to your web browser. If it resolves to your web site you have
your own IP. If it resolves to anything else you are sharing your
IP with as many as 250 other web sites.
 Set
up Instructions for new hosting accounts:
In your ftp client please set your initial remote host
directory to: /public_html/
The welcome page currently on the site is in the folder /public_html/
is named index.html
You must overwrite this file in order to see your homepage. A common
mistake is publishing your home page as index.htm instead of index.html
and then still seeing the blue welcome page after you refresh your
browser instead of your home page. The web browser always searches
for index.html first.
Manage hosting and e-mail:
You also have site administrator access to your site. Simply log
in at www.yourdomainname.com/siteadmin with your login and password.
Here you can manage all functions relating to your e-mail accounts.
You will notice that at least 1 account has already been set up
as your main account; you can always add more and/or add aliases.
Billing:
You will receive quarterly invoices from our affiliate in Seattle,
FiberCloud Inc for hosting at US$10.95 tax exempt (~ CAD$13.50)
per month; the first month is free. We have complete remote access
to our servers. They are collocated with www.fibercloud.com in
Seattle because we believe this offers us an excellent, uninterrupted
hosting solution with the highest bandwidth. Allowing Fibercloud
Inc. to bill you directly saves us the overhead of clerical staff
and saves you the PST and GST. Should you find it more convenient

For every 5 hosting accounts you host and/or refer to us we will
