Zimbreira is a beautiful villa in a mature garden giving complete privacy and is situated on Sargaçal Ridge in a commanding position with views down a protected valley to a glimpse of the sea. Only 5 minutes from the town of Lagos and 50 minutes from Faro airport.
The villa has four bedrooms and sleeps nine and so is ideal for one or two families.
There is a lovely shady outdoor dining patio with a view of the valley, which is cool in the heat of summer, but sunny and sheltered for the colder months. This has a long marble table and chairs and is THE spot for lunch in the shade and dinner on warm summer evenings. The poolside gazebo is next to the built-in barbeque. This is a great relaxed way to prepare meals round the pool - all the family can participate and the cook is in the midst of the action! This is cool in the heat of summer, but sunny and sheltered for the colder months.
There are lots of sun bathing patios too, and shady places under the palm for quiet reading or relaxing. The pool is 5 meters by just over 10 metres - The deep end 7 feet, the shallow end is 3 feet. There are pool loungers around the pool. The pool area is just a few steps down from the house and is an integral part of the outside, covered dining area and terraces.
There is a hard tennis court too, not up to professional standards, but great fun for all the family.
The bedrooms are all upstairs and there are two double bedrooms en suite, and another double room with an extra single bed which shares a bathroom with the fourth smaller twin bedded room. The 3 main bedrooms each have there own private little balcony. All the bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The main bedroom ensuite has a separate shower, the other two bathrooms have the shower over the bath. There is a separate toilet downstairs.
The villa is fully equipped,and has a separate dining room that seats 10. The sitting room is very comfortable - again, cool in summer, but with a cosy fireplace for when the air is colder in winter and late autumn It also has digital TV with DVD player and a raised reading area with music playing equipment. There is even a piano in the hall, which guests are welcome to use. The kitchen at the villa has a large table and everything you would expect to find in a well equipped kitchen.
