New First Class Booking Structure for Domestic Travel

On April 5, 2004, Northwest Airlines® will implement a new First Class booking structure. A new R booking class will be added to the First Class cabin for US50/ Canada/ Mexico/ Caribbean travel.

WorldPerks® mileage upgrades and Elite complimentary upgrades when traveling on discounted coach class tickets will be booked into R class. F class will be reserved for paid discounted First Class fares. P class will remain unchanged and will continue to be used for full First Class fares and Elite full fare upgrades.

The realignment gives Northwest the opportunity to better manage the high demand for First Class seats.
