When children under age 13 attempt to register with Yahoo!, we ask them to have a parent or guardian establish a Yahoo! Family Account. A Family Accounts feature allows Yahoo! to obtain verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before we collect any registration information from a child. In addition, Family Accounts allow a parent to access their child's Yahoo! account, edit account information, and better control their child's personal information. Yahoo! does not collect any more information from a child than is needed to participate in an activity or game.
