Welcome to WorldPerks Elite. Below is an overview of the WorldPerks Elite membership rules. For complete Elite program information we invite you to read the 2006 Elite Benefits Guide
Achieving WorldPerks Elite Status
To retain your Elite status for the 2007 program year, or upgrade your membership during 2006, simply earn the required number of Elite Qualifying Miles or Elite Qualifying Segments between January 1 and December 31, 2006. The 2006 Elite program runs from March 1, 2006 through February 28, 2007.

If before year end, you earn either the number of miles or the number of segments for Elite membership, we'll upgrade your status one business day after the qualifying flight is posted to your account. We'll then mail your new credentials within four weeks of the status upgrade.
Elite Qualifying Miles
Elite Qualifying Miles are earned from:
- Credited flight miles on Northwest, KLM, and other qualifying carriers.
- The 50% class of service bonus earned for paid First/World Business Class travel.
- The 50% class of service bonus earned on Y/B fares in Economy class.
Elite Qualifying Miles can be earned on the following airlines: Northwest, Northwest Airlink, Aeromexico, Air France, Alitalia, Continental Airlines, Continental Express, Continental Micronesia, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection, Delta Shuttle, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Korean Air, Air Europa, Alaska Airlines, China Southern, Copa Airlines, Gulfstream International Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Horizon Air and Malev Hungarian Airlines.
Elite Qualifying Segments
Members who don't necessarily travel far in mileage but fly frequently can qualify for Elite status based on the number of segments flown. All paid fare classes eligible to earn WorldPerks miles on Northwest or any of our Elite Qualifying Airline Partners will count towards your Elite Qualifying Segments (EQS) for the 2007 program year (Continental Airlines flights in Q, I, S, W, T, X, L classes; Delta Air Lines operated flights are excluded).

WorldPerks Silver Elite Benefits
For WorldPerks members who fly between 25,000 and 49,999 Elite Qualifying Miles or between 30 amd 59 Elite Qualifying Segments in a calendar year, WorldPerks Silver Elite membership offers the following benefits and privileges:
- SkyTeam Elite status, offering a set of benefits you'll receive when you fly on the SkyTeam Network.
- 50% Mileage Bonus on credited flight miles earned on Northwest Airlines, Northwest Airlink, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Continental Airlines, Alaska Airlines and other WorldPerks Airline Partners.
- Unlimited Confirmed First Class Upgrades on domestic Northwest- and Continental-operated flights, with no certificates required - and the ability to upgrade from any paid fare. Elite upgrades are processed automatically and are subject to availability.
- Priority Check-In and Pre-Boarding Privileges on Northwest providing prompt check-in and additional time to settle in before takeoff.
- Silver Elite reservations line for priority handling.
- Exclusive privileges and special offers from our participating WorldPerks Partners.
WorldPerks Gold Elite Benefits
For WorldPerks members who fly between 50,000 and 74,999 Elite Qualifying Miles or between 60 and 99 Elite Qualifying Segments in a calendar year, WorldPerks Gold Elite membership offers the following benefits and privileges:
- SkyTeam Elite status, offering a set of benefits you'll receive when you fly on the SkyTeam Network.
- 100% Mileage Bonus on credited flight miles earned on Northwest Airlines, Northwest Airlink, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Continental Airlines, Alaska Airlines and other WorldPerks Partner Airlines.
- Unlimited Confirmed First Class Upgrades on domestic Northwest- and Continental-operated flights, with no certificates required - and the ability to upgrade from any paid fare. Elite upgrades are processed automatically and are subject to availability.
- Unlimited Companion Upgrades on domestic Northwest- and Continental-operated flights, which provide the opportunity to upgrade one travel companion on every qualifying paid flight.
- Exclusive Elite Services Reservations Line, with dedicated Elite Services agents who are specially trained to address Elite members' travel needs.

WorldPerks Platinum Elite Benefits
For WorldPerks members who fly at least 75,000 Elite Qualifying Miles or 100 Elite Qualifying Segments in a calendar year, WorldPerks Platinum Elite membership offers the following benefits and privileges:
- SkyTeam Elite status, offering a set of benefits you'll receive when you fly on the SkyTeam Network.
- 125% Mileage Bonus on credited flight miles earned on Northwest Airlines, Northwest Airlink, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Continental Airlines, Alaska Airlines and other WorldPerks Partner Airlines.
- Unlimited Confirmed First Class Upgrades on domestic Northwest- and Continental-operated flights, with no certificates required - and the ability to upgrade from any paid fare. Elite upgrades are processed automatically and are subject to availability.
- Platinum Elites may upgrade one companion booked within the same reservation at the same time the Platinum Elite upgrade is processed. These upgrades will be processed through the automated upgrade process.
- Unlimited Companion Upgrades on domestic Northwest- and Continental-operated flights, which provide the opportunity to upgrade one travel companion on every qualifying paid flight.
- Exclusive Elite Services Reservations Line, with dedicated Elite Services agents who are specially trained to address Elite members' travel needs.
