"I loved this hotel"
I stayed here on my first visit to Rome, and it helped make the experience one to remember. We went in January, so it was quite quiet, but I'd go back here again at any time (tried to book it on my second visit, but it was full!). It has a very friendly atmosphere - it's not one of those big hotels where you feel anonymous in. We had a rear facing room - it was very quiet at night, and the room was spotless. The bathroom was beautifully decorated with marble flooring, and agin, it was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good, and I still crave for their coffee in the morning - I've never tasted better coffee anywhere! There is a lovely little shop right next door selling wines, bags of coffee and italian sweets - and it has the friendliest and most helpful staff! The location is pretty good too. You can walk it into the centre of Rome in about 15 mins, or walk to Termini station in just over 5 mins. There are plenty of buses running by too if you want to hop on one outside the hotel. Thumbs up for this hotel for sure!

"excellent hotel"
This hotel was fab! We went on a girls city break having never been to rome before. The hotel was such good value for money, we were not expecting anything like the standard we got. Lovely decorated, large with tv lounge, bar, shop, good continental breakfast. VERY friendly and helpful staff (who were very understanding about our loud girly giggles/squeals which our neighbours complained about) and recommended a FABULOUS restaurant called La Carbonara in Campo di Fiori (young/studenty bar area) where the waiters were a great laugh and ended up giving us a bottle of bubbly for free. It is only 5/10 mins walk from Metro line 1 (one euro), 15 mins walk to the collesseum and termi station, next door to a great pizza place and internet cafe. The restaurant around the corner is also recommended. You will not get anything else this standard for this price - of course it could be a little closer but its only 8 euros by taxi to the centre. Definately recommended ;o)
