We did not stay in the hotel, but had a lovely evening at their restaurant. We arrived just before sunset and were seated right by the window - what a gorgeous view of Rome! The sommlier recommended an excellent bottle of wine, and both the food and service were excellent.
The consierge at our hotel told my husband ahead of time that a jacket or shirt and tie would be expected attire. |

Ivan,
I wanted to thank you again for all the excellent service you provided us during our stay at your wonderful hotel. The entire staff at your hotel was absolutely great, but you, in particular, made our stay in Rome the most memorable. The way you booked all our tours made our trip easy and effortless and allowed us to concentrate more on having a good time and less on worrying about details. And the ever-present, friendly smile you always showed us was very welcoming. Thanks again for everything, and good luck to you in all you do.
The Splendide Royal had large lavishly-appointed rooms that were a treat to luxuriate in. The view and quietude of the Borghese Gardens makes this hotel even more wonderful. It's located only 2 blocks away from the hustle and bustle of Via Veneto, but you feel like you're miles away when overlooking the gardens from their restaurant on the 6th floor, Limonaia.
The staff was always polite and professional, yet very friendly and helpful as well. Ivan and Alessandro won our hearts as charmers.
I can't imagine staying anywhere else while in Rome. |

The hotel and amenities warrant a rating of 5. My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Splendide and we really enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was incredible, as was the view from the restaurant and the service. Ivan was great and he assisted us with many things, even making arrangements for pickup at the train station upon our return from Florence, with transportation to the airport. We ranked this a 4 instead of a 5 for only one reason, and that is its location. In many ways, the location was great (near Via Venetto) and very private, but most of the sightseeing we wanted to do was a distance away and we spent much time going from point A to point B, instead of just enjoying point B. |

I've spent a few days in Rome and I've stayed in the most exclusive hotel in Rome, the Splendide Royal.I had a wonderful time in it and i want to thanks his great Concierge Ivan who made my stay in Rome Absolutely unforgattable, the way he palnned my stay in Rome and all over Italy just making a few phone calls to few of his friends in a different Hotel in Italy. He was such professional that i felt myself like the most important person in Rome. |

We stayed at the Royal Splendide, for five nights, at the beginning of April. It was our special wedding anniversary celebration, and our third time in Rome. The quiet and centralized location couldn?€™t be beaten, between Galleria Borguese and Spanish steps. We got a fancy and very comfortable standard room and we negotiated a fair deal for such a luxury, recently refurbished hotel. The concierge, Ivan, was warm and helpful. He pre-booked a couple of key cites saving us time and providing impeccable services. We would definitely stay there again. |

My family and I just returned from a week at the Splendide. The room was truly amazing. Larger than any I've stayed in in the U.S. and so luxurious. More like an apartment than a hotel. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The service was impeccable. The concierge was particularly helpful with handling the shipment of a rather large purchase. Overall our stay was fantastic and we will most certainly be back. |

Thank-you, Splendide Royal, for a most memorable stay. This hotel has Old-World charm, with very attentive and welcoming staff. The restaurant offered stunning views of the city, sun-sets, Borghese Gardens, and impecable service and cuisine. Very private and quiet - if you are a runner, or want easy access to a large park - there's no better location - the Borghese museum and gardens are lovely. Talk to Ivan, the concierge, to arrange the most efficient use of time and for suggestions from restaurants, tour guides, concerts, etc. He makes you feel as if you're the most important guest he has! Large, spacious, clean and well appointed rooms with large baths! I can't wait to return. |

My wife and I loved this hotel! On our recent trip through Italy this was by far the best hotel on our itinerary. The location is very good -- just minutes away from the Spanish Steps and Via Veneto. The hotel itself and our room was finely appointed. We ate a first class breakfast each morning on the rooftop overlooking the Roman skyline.
Most of all the concierge, Ivan, was extremely helpful and made some excellent recommendations on dining and sightseeing. Finally, the price was very reasonable for all it had to offer. Just down the street was Hotel Eden, which several guidebooks listed as the most posh hotel in Rome. |

My husband and I spent Christmas and New Year's in Rome and the splendide royal was our address while there. It was wonderful-the room was beautifully decorated, the service was impeccable, and the location was perfect. We were able to enjoy Rome's wonderful fireworks display from the elegant terrace of the hotel's Mirabelle restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel-it made for one of our most memorable vacations together! |
