Frequently Asked Questions:
What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in is after 3:00PM. Check-out is before 10:00AM.
Are there laundry facilities? There are laundry rooms centrally located on every floor. Each laundry room contains two US coin operated washers and dryers. Both apartments are near the laundry rooms.
Is the pool heated? Yes, the pool is heated to a comfortable temperature.
How far is the beach? The South Seas Club is directly on Marco Beach. The beach is accessed by a footbridge located by the pool. It is approximately 100 yards to the water’s edge from the footbridge. To the right of the condos, there is a public section of Marco Beach called Tigertail Beach. It is approximately 50 yards from the footbridge. South Seas Club renters have the option of using either section of the beach.
How far are restaurants and shopping? Restaurants and shopping begin approximately a quarter of a mile from the entrance to the South Seas Club.
Is there golf locally? There are over 40 golf courses in the Marco area, more courses per capita than any other area in America. Locally there is the Marco Shores Country Club and the Marriott’s Golf Club. There are descriptions of these courses on my Recreation page.
Can renters use the Physical Fitness Room? Yes. However, there is an age requirement. You have to be 21 to use the room.
What equipment is in the Physical Fitness Room? 2 treadmills, 1 Universal with 5 stations, 3 bikes, 1 rowing machine, 2 Health Riders, 1 TV. No free weights.
Are there charges to use the facilities at South Seas? There are charges for tennis and to rent a boat slip. There is also a $20* parking fee per car for the duration of your stay.
What is the charge to use the tennis courts? At present the charges are $17.00* per hour for a soft court and $12.00* per hour for a hard court.
What is the charge to rent a boat slip? At present, boat slip rentals are $87* per week. Call two weeks before to get a slip and give a $50* deposit. Storage of your trailer is off premises. The trailer is allowed on the property for 12 hours only. Local storage facilities are, 951 Storage or Prout Plumbing or one of the many marinas in the area.
Can we have parking for more than one car? Only one car can be parked in the garage. A second car must be parked in the outside lot. There is an additional $20* fee for a second car.

How far is the South Seas Club from Walt Disney World? Disney World is a 3˝ hr drive.
What is the closest airport? The closest international airport is Southwest Florida International Airport in Ft. Myers, 50 min drive. Naples Municipal Airport is a 25 min drive. The other major airports are Ft. Lauderdale, 1˝ hrs; Miami International Airport, 2 hrs; Tampa, 2˝ hrs and Orlando International Airport approximately 4 hrs. Rental Info and Fees:
What is the procedure to reserve either Apt 304 or Apt 707? I work through a rental agency that is located on Marco Island. They take care of the actual rental, e.g., taking deposits, sending out contracts, handing out keys, taking care of any problems that might arise in the apartment while you are there. When you have decided that you definitely want to book an apartment, I will call my agent with your name and have her set aside the time period that you want. You will then have to call my agent to finalize the rental. At that point my agent can address any questions that you may have including method of payment, deposit schedule, cancellation policy and cancellation insurance, etc.
Is there a cleaning fee? The cleaning fee is included in the price quoted. The condo is cleaned before you get there and after you leave. There is an extra charge for each load of wash over two. Two washes consist of one set of sheets per bed, one towel and one washcloth per person. Extra loads of wash are charged to the renter at $20* per load. Laundry facilities are on each floor if you want to avoid the extra charge.
