Recommendations Apt 304 Aug/Sept 2004 Dear Lorraine, You are more than welcome to use my comments. I should also mention that we took a charter boat trip with Captain Cedric Davis of Fantasea Boat Tours: http://www.fantaseatours.net. He took us to Sand Dollar Island and then through the 10,000 Islands and all the way around Marco. We found fantastic shells on the sand bar and at one point he coaxed 4 dolphins to play in the boat's wake. We took this tour in the rain and still had a fabulous time. He will customize tours for up to 6 passengers and he is docked at Cedar Bay Marina. The boat trip and watching the sunset from Quinn's were two major highlights of our visit.Thanks again! The condo was super in every way. The beach, pool, and the weather were perfect with only a day or two of rain. We enjoyed ourselves and would like to return in 2005. Mike Saltmarsh Hello Lorraine! Sorry but just missed getting your email before we left for Marco Island. We had a wonderful vacation and thought apartment #304 was beautiful! The outlook through the palm trees down the beach was a particular joy. When you referred to the visitor book we thought that perhaps you had one to sign and leave appreciative comments, but have put them here instead. The ceiling fans were a great asset. The updated card system for using the laundry room machines worked really well and was so convenient! We thoroughly enjoyed our beach walks and shell searching! Watching the various birds around the complex and along the beach was always interesting. We also spent a glorious day at the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary which was well worth the short drive, especially as it is practically mosquito free! To say the least, our vacation here has been absolutely wonderful. In the midst of all this beauty, its hard to imagine that very soon we will be ministering in Africa among people who have nothing. Greg -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apt 707 March 2004 Hi Lorraine, Just wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed staying in 707 the week of March 13. We hope to come back again next March. We ended up purchasing 3 chaise lounges and left them in the apartment for you and your renters to use. (hopefully we can use them again next year) As you can tell, we enjoyed spending the majority of our time on the beautiful beach laying on chaise lounges! It took us a couple times to master anchoring the umbrella though! ha We also were surprised at how huge the beach is in front of South Seas. It is definitely a "hiking trip" when you go to the beach. (We now have beach carts so you don’t have to carry beach supplies). We also really appreciated your instructions on parking and getting into the building. It was very helpful for newcomers. The only thing that I would pass on to you is to inform your rental agent that when they send out their final letter with arrival instructions that they should tell us that we need to bring along our signed rental agreement in order to register for our parking pass at South Seas. We did not have it when we went to register, so we had to call the agent and request they fax over a copy on Monday. We then had to go back to get our pass. Just thought you would want to know. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your condo. The view is gorgeous and we found your home to feel like "home" to us as well. We enjoyed all the extras in the condo! Movies, beach towels and beach chairs to name just a few! I loved the King size bed in the Master bedroom. We rented bikes for the week and my husband and I rode everywhere! The island is delightful! My 17 year old son made a daily ride to the YMCA to work out. He thinks we need property in the area! My 15 year old daughter and I had fun shopping in all the little shops. There were so many restaurants to choose from! We had a blast. We actually ran into some friends from home who were staying at the Marriot and were able to have dinner with them one evening. It was a very relaxing week. I was not ready to come home! Thanks again Lorraine. We definitely want to visit again! The apartment was great there were beautiful thunderstorms every day and dolphins were swimming within several feet of us. it was great and we would like to do it all again. Thank You Kevin Fish Apt 707 July 2004 Hi Lorraine: Just wanted to let you know that everything was superb! The condo is certainly very well stocked in terms of having everything we would need. We had a wonderful time on Marco Island. You have a beautiful spot - we think one of the best views on the island! We accidentally broke one of the wineglasses (not the crystal ones, but the plain one) -we replaced it with a set of 4 wineglasses. We hope to rent your place again in the future. Cheers! Apt 304 We got some wonderful pictures of the dolphins playing in the wake of the shelling boat. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach, the Marriott and the Tide Restaurant. One evening my husband and I took a romantic walk down the beach and arrived at the Marriott in time to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset. The condo location was great and had everything we needed so that we didn't have to eat out for breakfast or lunch. We would have watched some of your movies or played the games in the condo but the weather was too good - not one single rain shower during our 7 day stay. We look forward to renting from you again in the
future and we have passed your website address on to some friends of ours in
St.Louis.

Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home. We had perfect weather the entire stay. Your home lacked for nothing it was very nice to have the beach chairs, towels and all the other beach stuff available so we didn't have to bring ours with us. Once again thank you for letting us use your home. Judi Radcliff Apt 707 June 2003 Dear Lorraine and Bill, My family and I rented your 7th floor condo the week of June 7th. I just had to tell you what a great time we had and how much we enjoyed our stay. Your place is just lovely. We have been taking beach vacations for the last 15 years and have never stayed in a place that felt more like home. We had two 15 year olds with us and they loved it, too. (Especially the 14 year old girl from England they met at the pool!) The beach was wonderful for shelling and the water was so clear you could wade in to your chest and still see your feet. We had perfect weather, too. Temps hovered around 90 most days, with no rain. A couple of terrific storms blew in after dark and put on quite a show, too. We went deep sea fishing off Naples. It was the first time we had ever fished and I ended up catching an 8lb, 23 inch grouper! Lunch anyone? While we're on the subject of food, you were right about Joey's, best thin crust pizza outside of New York City. I want to thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time in wonderful surroundings. It was a very relaxing vacation and we enjoyed every moment of it. We look forward to a return trip.
