Our 16th Century cottage is situated in the small market town of Chorley in Lancashire. The cottage has 4 bedrooms one with en suite and a 4 poster bed. It has a dining room, a large family room with conservatory looking on to the garden which has a 36ft x 16ft swimming pool and decking. The cottage has many original features including ingle nook fireplaces, some flag floors and oak beams. The kitchen is hand made of pitch pine as are the bedroom cupboards. We will gladly e mail photo's. Chorley is situated to the north of Manchester. Manchester takes 30 mins by train to our local station. We are 45 min drive to the Lake district and have motor way links to York, Harrogate and approx 2 1/2 hours by train to London. The cottage is set in the country side with lots of walks over local fells.

User description
We are the Lewis family, we have 4 children, 3 grown up and one 7 year old boy. Bob is a builder and did a lot of work to our house. I am Theresa and stay at home to look after the family. Our eldest daughter Nichola does not live at home and she work as a traffic warden. Simon has a job as a computer programmer, Holly works in Florida on a Disney Cruise ship, and Zachary goes to a small independent school.My dad (Joe) live in an in-law-unit next to the cottage. We would need a house big enough for three adults and one child.
