Huntington Beach offers a number of convenient residential services. The following list includes frequently asked questions and answers at our Visitor Center.

Civic Center/City Hall - 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92648; Phone: 714-536-5511. Open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Closed on all legal holidays.

Bicycle License - Bicycle licenses are no longer required. Traffic Division of the Police Department. Phone: 714-536-5663.

Birth, Death, or Marriage Certificates - Contact County Recorders Office at 714-834-3005 for marriage certificates and 714-834-2872 for birth and death certificates.

Bonfires - Bonfires are permitted in fire rings located along the city and state beaches.

City Council Meetings - 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. If a legal holiday falls on a scheduled meeting day, the meeting will be held on the following Tuesday. Phone: 714-536-5553

Dog Beach - On the north end of Huntington Beach off Pacific Coast Highway between Golden West Street and Seapoint Avenue, dogs are permitted off leash and in the water.

Seniors - The City's Council on Aging features the Michael E. Rodgers Seniors' Center, a focal point for an array of programs and services important to the quality of life for individuals over the age of 50. A hot lunch is served daily. Classes are offered at the Center and through Huntington Beach Adult School and Coastline Community.
