Cystic Acne & Scarring
Prevention with Elicina
A natural skin care solution by "a prince of sorts"...
Cystic acne is the result of bacterial infection of
cysts deep within the skin. It can yield permanent scars. Cystic
acne requires treatment with oral and topical antibiotics. Without
treatment cystic acne may result in severe scarring. Elicina can
help prevent the formation of scars and helps to fight bacterial
infection.
Cysts - A sac or space (commonly in the lower layer
of the skin) that contains fluid or semi-solid material.
Acne cysts (as opposed to blackheads and whiteheads)
are better treated with antibiotics. Cysts are large, inflamed
lesions that are filled with pus. They occur when the contents of a
clogged pore seeps into the skin, thus producing a significant local
immune response. Cysts can be painful and leave scars.
The treatment of moderate to severe acne often
relies on antibiotherapy in order to eradicate as much as possible
microorganisms such as Propionibacterium spp colonizing the
sebaceous follicles. In recent years, bacterial resistances against
specific antibiotics have emerged. Both the antibiotic and its
administration modalities must be considered in order to control the
risk. With regard to this conundrum, oral minocycline is a
medication of choice among the diverse anti-acneic therapies.
Elicina is a skin regenerator and a topical
antibacterial alternative for mild acne cysts. It is also used in
conjunction with oral antibiotics or with Accutane when acne is
severe. It's antibiotic action does not create any bacterial
resistance.
Testimonials
I am using the product in conjunction
with the antibiotic minocin and I've never seen such great results
from any other product. I've struggled with breakouts since the
fifth grade and I am now 32. In the last 3yrs. I developed cystic
acne which is very damaging to the skin. Elicina is the answer to my
prayers, the results were so fast. I've also noticed a change in old
acne scars. I am grateful for finding this product. I highly
recommend this to everyone, Vicki Winslow. PA, USA.
Elicina is great! It has worked wonders on my acne
scars, and went along well with Accutane. Now my face is smooth, and
blemish free. I love it! It does what 2 or 3 different products do!
Definitely worth the money! I'm so happy I found Elicina! Keith

I have been using the cream for about 7 weeks now and I love it. I
have noticed a reduction in my deep cystic acne scars caused by to
30 years of acne breakouts. I have had in the past 2 dermabrasions
and several chemical peels, years of glycolic acids which reduced
the scars somewhat but the cream is definitely working better than
all those methods. It has such a calming soothing effect in general
on the skin that compares to nothing else I have come across in my
search. I believe that it will take time, perhaps about a year, for
them to heal at the rate it is going. (...) I am so grateful ad that
I found Elicina! Irene Sowton. CA, USA.
This product is wonderful. After going from dermatologist to
dermatologist to treat adult cyctic acne I was looking for anything
to try. Luckily my desperate search found Elicina. I've been using
it for about 2 months and haven't had a new cyst since I started
using this product. My scars are fading too. I am in the medical
profession and this is the best product I've every found. Forget
about the customary medical treatment. Use Elicina. Leslie 40yrs old.

When severe cystic acne fails to respond to other
treatments, the dermatologist is likely to turn to Accutane (isotretinoin).
This synthetic oral form of vitamin A works by decreasing formation
of oily plugs of sebum (the oil substance produced by sebaceous
glands), reducing the formation of keratin (the tough outer layer of
skin), and by shrinking the sebaceous glands. Isotretinoin cures or
greatly reduces severe disfiguring acne in up to 80% of patients.
The course of treatment usually runs four or five months, after
which the condition may continue to improve at least two more months
to a year. Sebum production then gradually returns to its
pretreatment levels, but fewer than one-third of patients require a
second course of the drug.
Accutane is reserved for people with severe cystic
acne that is unresponsive to other treatments. However,
dermatologists must perform a number of blood tests before
administering Accutane, and women should not get pregnant while
taking it because of the excessive risk of severe birth defects and
spontaneous abortion associated with fetal exposure to the drug.
Because many women who are prescribed Accutane are of childbearing
age, they should not take retinoids unless they've used a reliable
contraceptive method for one month prior to therapy, during therapy,
and for one month after stopping therapy. Other dangerous side
effects of retinoids may include corneal opacities, decreased night
vision, inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatitis.
Elicina Cream is useful as an adjunct of Accutane
for the treatment of severe cystic acne.
