Water Filters Storage and Water Containers
If you've ever been thirsty, you'll realize that water is an essential part of an emergency preparedness program for your first aid kits. While you can go without food for an extended period of time (we don't recommend it), you can only go without water for a very short period of time. Be prepared for an emergency, earthquake or disaster situation with water storage barrels, water filters, siphon pumps, and water purification tablets.
The average person use approximately 111 gallons each day (for washing, showering, etc.) Military studies have shown that troop water consumption averages about 14.5 gallons/day and that 2 gallons/day are used for cooking and consumption. We recommend that you begin by storing at least 2 gallons of water/day per person.
Water can be stored up to 5 years in storage containers and using Aerobic 07. Or you can purify water using tablets or filters.
