Credit Recognition Agreement between ParalegalTech Institute
and

ParalegalTech Institute has entered into a credit recognition
agreement with Charter Oak State College, a regionally accredited college.
Students can benefit from the affiliation with Charter Oak in two ways:
- Students can establish a credit registry account at Charter Oak. For PTI courses in which a student has earned a C or higher, Charter Oak will issue a transcript, which can be used to transfer the credits to colleges and universities throughout the United States.
- It is easy to earn your associate's degree from Charter Oak. Besides the credits earned for work completed at PTI, Charter Oak will accept transfer credits from any regionally accredited college or university.

Articulation Agreement between ParalegalTech Institute
and
ParalegalTech Institute has entered into an
articulation agreement with the University of Phoenix, whereby
PTI students will receive 6 general elective credits at the
University of Phoenix for each successfully completed course
in PTI’s paralegal certificate
program. Upon successful completion of the entire paralegal certificate
program, the student can receive up to 30 credits at the University
of Phoenix through their Prior Learning Assessment Center, a degree completion option that recognizes students' learning outside the traditional classroom. The student can apply these credits towards an associate’s
or bachelor’s degree at the University of Phoenix.
Please note that unlike credit received from
Charter Oak State College, which can be transferred to major
colleges and universities throughout the United States, the University
of Phoenix credit can be used at the University of Phoenix only.
For further information, please read about the student portfolio process, and contact Ms. Ruth King-Cole, associate director of prior leaning assessment at the University of Phoenix, regarding state regulations.
