Acceptance of Terms
Linux Learning Zone provides the services and information to you, the user, based on your acceptance without limitation or modification to the terms and conditions stated here within.
Before using this site and/or signing up for a membership with Linux Learning Zone please read this agreement carefully. By continuing to access the site you are bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any portion please discontinue use and exit the site.
Linux Learning Zone reserves the right to edit, add to, or remove any portion of terms and conditions at any given time without notice. It is your responsibility to stay updated on the latest information posted. Any such changes will be effective immediately unless otherwise notified (when implementing major changes to our policy we will send out a notification in advance). Your continued use after any changes have been posted will mean that you accept the changes.
Linux Learning Zone reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any or all services and benefits. Linux Learning Zone shall not be liable to any user or other third party for any such modification, suspension or discontinuance except as expressly provided herein.
Reasonable Use
We offer a lot and we offer it with goodwill and under a reasonable use policy. Tips, pointers, seminars are all free however are for reasonable and not excessive use.
Unlawful or Prohibited Use
When you use Linux Learning Zone you affirm to Linux Learning Zone that you will not use the site or any content on the site in an unlawful manor or that is prohibited in this Member Policy (Terms). If you violate this policy you automatically forfeit the use of this site and any membership you may have will be cancelled immediately without warning.
Services
Linux Learning Zone provides tools, information, products, technology news, education, and support to those with a desire to learn more about the Linux operating system.
Registration
Each registering Linux Learning Zone user must:
1) true, accurate, current, and complete information when registering with the site
2) maintain and promptly update any provided to data to make sure it stays current
If it is found that a user has provided incomplete or inaccurate information then it is grounds for suspension or even termination and the user will no longer be granted access to the site.
Upon registration usernames and passwords will be provided (your choice upon completing the signup form). It is the users' responsibility to keep this information confidential. Linux Learning Zone will not be held liable for anything resulting from users who failed to comply with this section of the terms. This includes any loss of information or damage from a user's failure to 1) immediately notify Linux Learning Zone of any unauthorized use of his/her password or account - or any other breach of security. 2) Exits the said account at the end of each session.
Termination
Linux Learning Zone has the right to terminate a users' account at its sole discretion and at any time for any reason. Most likely to result in termination, but not limited to, are the following reasons: 1) violation of the terms contained in this Member Policy; 2) abuse of the site resources or attempt to gain unauthorized entry to the site or its resources; 3) use of the Linux Learning Zone site and the contents within in a manner that is inconsistent with its Purpose; 4) a user's request for such a termination; 5) or as required by law, regulation, court, or governing agency.
Privacy Statement
Linux Learning Zone gives you maximum control of your personal data including your registration information. Your information will not be shared with third parties or used in any evasive means.
Currently personal information is used as a basis for subscription renewals for paying members, notifications to users, and in order to implement the Terms and Conditions of Use.
The only information disclosed publicly is that information you choose to enter in our forums and your user name. We will not be held responsible for any personal information you choose disclose in any of our forums, chats, and other interactive areas and advise against giving out any such information.
Security
Linux Learning Zone utilizes measures such as encryption tools and software, security audits, as well as other means to ensure your information's security.
No Guarantees for Factors Beyond Control
Though this Privacy Statement conveys Linux Learning Zone's standards for maintenance of private information, it is not in a position to warranty that the standards will always be met. There may be factors beyond control (e.g., "script kiddies", "crackers and other malcontents") that may result in disclosure of data. As a consequence, Linux Learning Zone disclaims any warranties or representations relating to maintenance or nondisclosure of private information. Disclaimer; Limitations of Liability Each user shall indemnify, hold blames, and defend Linux Learning Zone, its affiliates, their respective officers, employees and agents, and Linux Learning Zone partners from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, and liabilities including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of that user's acts or omissions, including claims arising out of that user's use of Linux Learning Zone; his or her submission, posting or transmission of Content or his or her violation of the Member Policy.
General Information
The terms and privacy statement constitute the entire agreement between Linux Learning Zone and its users.
