US Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform

Did you know a lawsuit is filed every two seconds in state courts – over 16 million suits per year?

Did you know class action filings rose more than 300% in federal courts and more than 1000% in state courts during the past 10 years?

To address this growing legal crisis, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce established the Institute for Legal Reform (ILR). ILR seeks to promote civil justice reform through legislative, political, judicial and educational activities at the national, state and local levels. Read more
