Biography
Joe's practice focuses on domestic and international business transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and financings. He is well-versed in all aspects of the domestic and international energy business, including oil and gas and electric power generation. Joe currently serves as Managing Partner of Vinson & Elkins.

- Represented majority shareholder of project company in developing and financing of 478 MW power generation facility in Turkey
- Represented a U.K. entity in the acquisition of an industrial equipment manufacturing division of a U.S. entity with major facilities in the U.S., Chile, Brazil, South Africa, The Netherlands, France, Italy and Australia
- Represented private equity investors in investments ranging from grocery stores to international oil field service concerns
- Represented U.S. entities in connection with development of LNG and petrochemical projects in the Middle East
