- Represented a major wholesale and retail electric company, structuring a number of innovative major electric and related-service transactions, both in regulated and deregulated jurisdictions
- Represented the developer of a merchant power plant in California under the deregulated regime
- Represented a party in the formation of a joint venture to market gas and electricity throughout the U.S.
- Represented numerous sellers and buyers of independent power projects
- Represented a company in connection with the development of refining and upstream and downstream projects in Venezuela to be developed and owned (and project financed) through entities to be owned jointly with Venezuelan government-owned companies and other third parties
- Represented the sellers of 50% of the stock of a company owning major crude oil refining facilities throughout the United States to PDVSA, including the negotiation of long term crude oil supply contracts and terminalling agreements
