Overview
Vinson & Elkins represents numerous established and start-up telecommunications entities on a broad range of technological, transactional and regulatory matters on the state, federal and international levels. The majority of our work in the communications industry can be categorized as either regulatory, transactional and corporate, or public policy.
Our telecommunications practice, comprising 42 lawyers in five V&E; offices, represents domestic and international clients. Collectively, we have worked in all areas of communications law including: broadcasting and cable, content providers, fiber optics, satellites, wireline, wireless, and new technologies. We have extensive experience representing lenders, borrowers, investors, and issuers in private and public transactions involving parties holding or using spectrum authorizations. Our senior capital markets and regulatory lawyers have worked on numerous transactions involving both telecommunications and broadcasting companies.
