This seems simple but see my screen name.
I need a picture or discription of the wiring hook-up for the alternator on a 1974 Bronco. The push on ends are not the ends in question there are a couple of other wires and a couple other posts that have me scratching my head.
Is there any thing else that could be draining or not keeping my battery charged> |

I can't answere your question about the wiring/ post thing -- i'm electrically challenged-- but the wire to the electric choke goes to one of the posts - not all the posts are connected to things,
Your short/ no charge can be multiple things.
Check the simple things first. The NEG. side of the battery has to have a GOOD ground. Make sure it.s clean and tight. Same for the ground on the voltage regulator.
I'll look for an alternator diagram . Hopfully one of the knowlegeable guys on this site will post with the info that you need.
