A Bad Message For Children
Wayne Dyer is a fraud...taking advantage of "free"-thinking adults desperate for hope is one thing, selling this sappy nonsense to our children is another. Teaching children that whatever they "intend" with all their heart will come true is deceptive, dishonest and in a way cruel. We shouldn't expose children to the massive horrors of the world when they're this young, however its misleading to attempt to brainwash them with new age junk like this.
Whatever you intend in the universe will not just come true...you should have dreams and work towards them, but no one will ever be able to get all that they want in life. This may seem unfortunate and unfair to many undeveloped and immature adults (such as Dyer), but it's a much more healthy message to to teah your children.
Have dreams, work towards them, don't give up, learn to deal with dissapointment and celebrate your successes. Do not teach your children that whatever they imagine will come true...
You don't need Dyer to push his pseudo-science "theories" on your children.
btw, I've been "intending" for years that Dr. Dyer will never write another book again and stay off of Public Television...hasn't happened, guess I'll just have to deal with reality.
oh well.
Stick to PBS and Yuppies Dyer.
Leave our Children alone.

My grand kids just love this book, with its uplifting, beautiful messages. I've bought some for relatives, and their children or grandchildren loved it too. It's just lovely!
Inspirational
I am so glad that Dr. Dyer has come out with a children's book. His books are truly inspirational and now my son and his classmates can enjoy his inspiration as well. Keep them coming!
