Great book - almost made me cry
This is a great book for kids or adults. The friendship of these two animals almost made me cry. I am recommending it to my own friends and family to buy.

I have been following the story of Owen and Mzee for months now and was so excited for the release of this book. I bought one for my nephews and one for myself. I love it, and my newphews have enjoyed it also. It is written for the older child when reading it, but the younger children still enjoy the pictures very much.
Wonderful book for all ages
I originally purchased this book for my 7 year old and I am considereing keeping this for myself! It's a priceless story of the unlikely relationship between a rescued baby hippo and an old loner tortise. Well written and the pictures are truly worth a thousand words.
