Summary: good CD
Comment: This is a good CD but kinda before the bands evolution to what it is today; the singer sounds different; he doesn't let his voice go so high.

Summary: Garage pop-punk?
Comment: New Found Glory is one of those bands out right now with the sound of a proper punk band, but filled to the brim with poppy hooks and high, whiny vocals. While looked upon with disdain by many rock fans, it is actually a pretty fun genre. You get rock but with all of the fun of power pop. New Found Glory was one of the first of these bands, and really has become one of the more popular ones.
This debut cd by them has none of the glossy pop production that some of their later cds have. A good thing for most music, i feel that for a band like this it takes away the fun and it sounds melodramatic and so overly angsty that it just becomes hard to listen to. If you listen closely, there are a bunch of decent songs, but they just get lost in the static. Better luck next time.

Summary: A New Found Glory
Comment: All right listen up people, this is the ONLY good album EVER released by New Found Glory, all the other ones blow and are catchy little fag albums directed to 12 year girls. And to you, Lewis from Albuquerque, New Mexico, screw you they ARE sell outs, and you don't know s*** about them, I live in Coral Springs, the city they actually came from, and I knew about them long before you even heard of them you s***faced pop-punk little fag and I can tell you that they are sellouts not only because they are on MTV(which any band on there sux too pretty much and has no respect for good music) but also because once they got big down here they ditched their friends and were all of a sudden too good for them. So next time you want to say something about a band try knowing a few things about them and where they come from before you shoot off your mouth. Now why don't you take a ride down to Roswell and look at some UFOs and whatever it is you fruit cakes do in New Mexico. :)
