Brand Your Web Site With FAVICON
In this issue we will tell you about a small, but powerful method to get the attention of Internet users and brand a web site.
Let's experiment. Please open your own web site in the Internet Explorer browser. Click on "Favorites " in the browser menu and in the drop menu click on "Add to Favorites…" and then "OK". Now click on "Favorites" again. In the list of favorites you will find the name of your web site with a standard Internet Explorer icon on the left side. If you used this technique to bookmark your favorite web sites before, you see that most web sites have the standard Internet Explorer icon in the list of Favorites.
Now please open http://www.numatek.com in Internet Explorer browser and do the same as described above - add our web site to your favorites (This is just for the experiment. If you don't want us in your favorites, then you can delete us after we show you our point). After NumaTek web site has been added to your favorites, click on "Favorites" again to see the list of your bookmarked web sites. You will see that we have our own bookmark icon (our logo) in the list. Does it catch your eye? We are sure it does.
And your web site can have your own bookmark icon! We use black-white colors in NumaTek design palette. But if your logo is colorful, your bookmark icon might be a real eye-catcher!
