Having both Loyalist and Patriot ancestors, this section is near and dear to my heart! I also have a son (my youngest, age 22) who is a soldier in the Canadian Army -- 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry -- the only Canadian Batallion in history to
receive the U.S.A. Presidential Unit Citation (for its role in the battle of Kapyong in Korea). I've spent a great deal of time finding data for other researchers to use in their search for their Loyalist ancestors. I hope you find this section helpful! At the bottom of the page you'll find some ideas for using this section

How to Use These Pages
Every page has my Olive Tree Logo on the top left, a Main Category Menu Bar down the left side, a middle section for the data and a Selection Bar down the right side. My site address (URL) begins with http://olivetreegenealogy.com/ If you find yourself on a page that does not look like this one, you are on someone else's site. To return to The Olive Tree Genealogy pages, just use your BACK button on your browser. You can also set your browser to make The Olive Tree Genealogy your startup page, and that way you'll never lose your way back!
You might also want to subscribe to my FREE Olive Tree Genealogy newsletter. I offer navigational tips as well as updates on free databases, helpful articles and more.
To use this specific section I suggest you begin with my Loyalist History pages. This will help you understand what a Loyalist was, who they were, where they fought and where they settled. From there, choose whatever interests you and enjoy!
