are to be used on commercial pages without both prior purchase of a commercial
use license and written approval by me for the use of my art.
Therefore, your use of my graphics on a commercial web page is illegal
under copyright law and forbidden under my terms of use.
In addition, my terms state that a linking logo must be included on every
page that my linkware is used.
Therefore, your use of my graphics without giving credit to me under my
terms of use is illegal under copyright law and forbidden under my terms
of use.
Finally, I specifically state that NONE of the linkware graphics contained
within my site may be altered, recolored, resized, etc., unless specifically
designed for text additions.
Therefore, your alterations of my copyrighted artwork is illegal under
copyright law and forbidden under my terms of use.
These obvious copyright infractions leave you with the following options:
(1) You will consider this a cease and desist notice and remove all of my copyrighted graphics from your site immediately.
(2) You pay me $00.00 for the commercial use of my linkware if you do not
post a linking logo.
(3) You pay me $00.00 for the limited commercial use of my linkware if
you post a linking logo on each page of use.
As a courtesy to you, I have chosen
not to contact or copy your web host WebHostName with this initial notification.
I expect response to this email in
a timely manner (72 hours - by Day, Month 00, 2000 at 12:00AM) either by
the removal of my copyrighted images or via email stating your intentions.
Be advised that if no response is received, my next step will be to contact
your web host (with my proof and sworn statement of copyright) as they
may become involved in any legal action I may have to pursue to obtain
compliance.

is being sent to you as part of a legal process that must be followed in
