Ohio Bass Tournament Angler's Association
We have made several changes and given our web site a new look.
For the 2006 season we have discontinued several services that
were not getting much use in order to expand the coverage we give
to Bass Tournaments.
We have combined the federated and non federated bass clubs into
a single section. We will accept all types of clubs for
listing. The Bass Federation, Federation Nation, and Independent clubs are all equally welcome.
We have discontinued the FOR SALE listings. This feature was
available for an entire year and not a single person ask to have
anything listed there.
We are continuing our ARTICLES section. We received several new
entries the past year and will evaluate it for another year.
Of course our true purpose is to list Bass Tournaments being conducted
in Ohio and that will also be continued. Over the past two years
we have seen a gradual increase in the number of submissions and
remain optomistic that this service will continue to grow.
What you will not see on this site!
OBTAA continues to be a totally non-commercial operation. We accept
no fees, sponsorships, or advertising of any type. The only advertising
on the entire site is our RESOURCES links accessible from the
menu. There are no pop-up, pop-under, or other advertising gimmicks
used on this site.
OBTAA has no commercial ties to any Tournament Organization and
will list any Bass Fishing Tournament being conducted in Ohio.
Although we do reserve the right to refuse any listing where the
promoters have proven untrustworthy in the past. To date that
has not been an issue.
OBTAA will not play favorites with your listings. All information
submitted is either in alphabetical order or in the case of specific
events in chronological order by the date of the event.
OBTAA will also not become actively involved in the debate between TBF
and ESPN/BASS Federation programs. Sure, we have our own opinion and you
may hear or read it elsewhere but it will not be reflected on this site.
Our purpose is to serve ALL Ohio Bass Tournament Anglers.
Our Future???
The future of this site is directly tied to the amount of use the
site receives. We stated, when this site opened two years ago,
that the only way it could fail was through a lack of use. That
still holds true.
If you find this site to be of value, tell your friends. If you
fish events that are not listed here, encourage the organizers
to get their event listed. It costs nothing to list an event and
nothing to browse through them.
If there are additional features or information that you would
like to see here, let us know. We are always interested in new
ideas. Suggestions from those actually using the site are
deeply appreciated. Also, please let us know if you have any problems
with the operation of this site. We try to keep it fairly simple
to keep page loading times to a minimum for those using dial up
connections.

have no commercial ties to any Company, Group, Organization, or
Individual. This is a free service to the Ohio Bass Tournament Angler.
Now accepting 2006 Season Information
We are now accepting information for the 2006 Tournament Season. The
earlier you get your events listed the more people will see them.
It has been our experience that our site traffic grows the most during
January through June and then gradually tapers off.
