Teenagers Do Not Know How to Date
It's a straight forward simple truth. In order to know how to do something, you need to be taught either through experience or by someone imparting their knowledge. Have you imparted some knowledge about dating to your soon-to-be dating or actively dating teen? No? Perhaps you believe trail by fire is better for your teen than having a conversation or two about what to look for in another person or how someone should treat you when you are dating them?

Seriously, talk to your teen before he/she starts dating. It will be one hundred times harder to do so when they are dating someone because it will look like you are against who they are dating instead of just trying to teach them something.
