EndNote 5.0.2 is a free update for users of EndNote 5.0. It will not update EndNote 4.x or earlier. The update in only to replace the Cite-While-You-Write files. Styles, filters, and connection files are not updated. For the latest updates for these files, check the Support & Services page of this web site.

The changes in version 5.0.2 are bug fixes only. This newer EndNote 5 CWYW files will enhance performance of the formatter. Some users have been experiencing extreme slowness or the appearance of "freezing" when formatting if there are non-EndNote field codes or tables in the document or the document very long.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Download the file "EN502upd.EXE."
   
2. Exit all programs.
   
3. Double-click on "EN502upd.EXE" to run the set-up.
