When you receive an attachment, simply click on the "Scan and Download Attachment" link.
After clicking this link, you'll see a scan results page that will let you know if a virus has been found. If a virus is found, it will automatically clean the file for Mail Plus subscribers. If a virus is not detected, click on "Download Attachment." The attachment will either open automatically or a dialog box will appear requesting that you either open the file from its current location or save the file. If you choose to save the file, be sure to note the name and destination of the file so that you can find it later.
Note: Virus scanning may not be able to detect all viruses and variants. Please be aware that there is a risk involved whenever downloading email attachments to your computer or sending email attachments to others. As provided in the Terms of Service, neither Yahoo! nor its licensors are responsible for any damages caused by your decision to do so.
We recommend that you never download files from an unknown source.
