APRIL - We have seen Gray Whales on every trip since March 1 on our Seattle Whale Watch Tours and will continue to do daily tours from Pier 66 in Seattle through May. Visit the San Juan Islands from June to October for prime orca whale watching. Minke whales can also be seen throughout the summer. And October is becoming a great time to see humpback whales in the San Juans. (We saw them every day in October until we came to Seattle for our winter orca tours.) November through January finds the resident orcas near Seattle and then from February to May the gray whales move in to Puget Sound.

Whales aren't all you will see. An amazing assortment of wildlife calls the Salish Sea home; stellar sea lions, harbor seals, eagles, herons, Dall's Porpoise and more. Elmer, the whale-watching dog, especially enjoys watching the porpoise bow ride with the boat and you will too.
