DDQ
DDQ the R&B; group was formed in 2001 by Dontavious Vancliff in Philadelphia, the group consist of four (4) members all from Philadelphia; Brian Seagraves 19, Omar “Osinee” Alexander 18, Dontavious “DJ” Vancliff 17, and Josh Banks 20. Groups such as New Edition, Jodeci, and the Jackson 5 have inspired them. They have blended the sounds of their favorite groups to come up with the DDQ Sound. After two (2) years of practicing and performing cover tunes, DDQ was introduced to Osinee’ s cousin Charlene who at the time was doing some A&R; work for an independent label called KeyLife Records. After that chance meeting, Charlene put them in her car and drove them to one of KeyLife’s executives door for a not rehearsed performance. After hearing the young gentlemen, they were immediately signed to a development deal and put in the studio. Since that day in November, DDQ has developed over ten (10) songs and even shot a video for their debut single “Stuck on Freeze”.
In August 2004, DDQ performed at the Billboard Hip Hop and R&B; Music Conference in Miami where they were given a standing ovation by Billboard staff and attendees.

In August 2004, DDQ was asked to perform at Philadelphia’s most prestigious summer event, Unity Day where they open up the R&B; stage.

October 2004, DDQ performed the Star Spangled Banner for the grand opening of two (2) Wal-mart stores in Philadelphia.

November 12, 2004, DDQ appeared on WUSL Power 99 FM to debut their single “Stuck on Freeze”.
That song is hot…………….Uncle Otis, on air personality.
DDQ is currently putting together a College Promotional Tour. In addition, they are in negotiations with Concert Promoters to be the opening acts for such artist as Jill Scott, Gerald Levert, Alicia Keys, and Chingy.
DDQ, which stands for “Don’t Doubt or Question”, is destined to be the next big thing out of Philly.
And the rest will be HISTORY.

Kimberly "Janal" Taylor is a Chicago born artist. She was raised in Maywood, IL. She has been singing since a very young age. Janal recalls singing solos in front of huge church audiences at the age of 4 years old. She would sing her favorite song "Jesus loves me". Music has always been something that was very dear to her. At the age of 8 years old she took piano lessons. She also has taken formal voice training for several years. While in High School, she was active in her school's Accapella Chorus. Janal was also very active in her school's Gospel Choir. At the age of 17, she recorded with a local Chicago Community Choir. She has gone on to sing with several other recording choirs. Gospel will always be her roots and her first love. Many have asked the question if she regrets singing RB verses Gospel. Her response is " God is love". "I feel that there is nothing more beautiful or reflective of God, than a love a man and woman have for each other". "That's the kind of love I am singing about". Over time she has ventured into the field of writing songs. One of her songs she is most proud of writing is "I've been waiting". She has plans to shop for a recording deal. Janal is also going to indendently sell her own singles. Overall, Janal aspires to share the gift of song that God as bestowed upon her to the world. Janal hopes that world's ear will embrace her.

Hi i started this whole thing years ago, i was at the stage school that james bourne(BUSTED) went to and me him and some other guys were all musically talented, he however went on to go sky high and i was left to try and pull something off myself. ive got myself and another guy and we both sing and dance well, we've performed in front of audiences and the receptions been mad. Thing is i now need to find two other guys who can sing and dance to form a group together. i know that with enough effort and time i can get a group good enough for a number 1 together. James got busted together and his parents think i can do well so this is the only chance i got. Just thought id ask if youd be willing to find me two guys that can be serious and commited to this. Its all comes under RnB but the exact type of group im starting is like B2K but a british version. I haven't seen a group released that will be like us at all. Once ive got the group together im hoping youd hear us out and decide wether we good enough. Thanks for your time.
