FIFA World Youth Soccer Championship 2007
Victoria joins Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal, Edmonton and Vancouver as hosts for the 2007 FIFA World Youth Soccer Championships and the University of Victoria's Centennial Stadium will serve as Victoria's venue. The three-week long, 24-nation, 52-match tournament features the best under-20 players in the world and is the second largest FIFA event after the FIFA World Cup.
