Alaska Halibut Fishing Charters
Deep Creek is located in Ninilchik on the Kenai Peninsula. It is a small fishing town that comes alive each summer when thousands of visitors join us to fish in our pristine waters of Cook Inlet. Ninilchik, is centrally located between Soldotna and Homer on the Sterling Hwy. From Anchorage it is scenic drive of about 4 hrs. Or you can hop a 20 minute commuter flight.

Your fishing trip begins with a unique method of launching. You will load into our 26' Koffler on the beach and be launched into the surf by tractors. Most find this an interesting beginning to their fishing day. Most days you will have a short boat ride of less than an hour out to the best fishing holes. During your boat ride you may have the chance of seeing some of Alaska's rich wildlife. On the beach, frequently you will see Bald Eagles as they search for food. In the water we frequently see sea birds of all kinds, whales, seals and otters. You will want to bring your camera for pictures of the scenic mountains that grace the shoreline. Alaska's Cook Inlet has some of the most extreme tides in the world. Because of this, your fishing charter departure is based on the time of the tides. However, you will be the only charter for the day. We do not believe in "doubles". We believe in order for you to receive our best there is not enough room in one day for two trips. Be assured that Gotta Fish Charters will have your full attention from start to finish.

Make sure you talk with us before picking your fishing days. Some tides are better than others for halibut fishing and some are better for salmon. By letting us help you pick the best dates available you increase your chances to catch your dream fish! Also available in Ninilchik on the minus tides is great razor clam digging. This is free with a fishing license and a little hard work. We would be happy to send you in the right direction.

Alaska Sightseeing Trip
From Ninilchik, it is a short drive either to Homer, Alaska to see the famous spit and the glaciers of the Harding Ice Field, or north to Soldotna to fish in the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. Along the drive you will probably see one of our most famous residents, the moose. In May, you may even be fortunate enough to see babies with their moms. They are a sight to see.
