Red body with small blue spots. Orange to red belly.

Large eyes and a large mouth with overshot lower jaw.
Temperature range:
15 - 30 Celsius (59 - 86 Fahrenheit).
Typical location:
Coral-rich areas of lagoon reefs and mid-shelf reefs.
Fishing methods:
Fishing near the bottom with squid or dead fish.
Fighting characteristics:
Aggressive strike followed by a powerful pull
