Oregon Fishing Reports

The Guide's Forecast (TGF) provides Oregon fishing reports, fishing forecasts and tips all written by Oregon fishing guides covering most of the state of Oregon and parts of Washington.  TGF's goal is to help you catch more fish.  TGF covers Oregon and Washington's coast, rivers, streams, and lakes for salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, and other species of fish in Oregon and Washington state.  TGF gathers its information from a wide range of professional fishing guides, those guides with the know how and customer service you would expect in the Pacific Northwest.

5th Annual Kings for Kids

Local guides are donating their day to guide anglers on Portland, Oregon area Spring Chinook rivers. All proceeds go to Royal Family Kids' Camp, which is a camp for abused and abandoned kids. The ticket price is 160.00 and includes a guided King salmon trip, dinner, drinks, t-shirt, and door prizes. Prizes include guided trips, G Loomis Rods, and much more. The event begins at 7:00 a.m. on May 5th, 2006 at Clackamette Park. A silent auction and raffle with many donations from local artists and retailers will take place after the fish measuring, Dinner and awards are presented. A trip will also be raffled with Fins, Feathers, and Furs in Alaska to experience some of the best fishing in the world. Get more information by clicking here.

The scabby crew of (left to right) Frank Ness, John Robinson (JR), Lee Garboden and Joe Ness pursued sturgeon on Tillamook Bay with pro guide Bob Rees. The quad scored a limit using a combo of sand and mud shrimp on March 26th. JR provided the good luck charm for the day that certainly contributed to the days productivity.
