Why Goats Milk?

For centuries, people have been using milk as a cleansing agent. Now scientists have discovered that goat milk soap has a pH level that is closer to the skin's own pH levels than soaps made without it.

Unlike cow's milk, goat's milk is naturally homogenized -- the milk and cream do not separate -- offering the full moisturizing effect of everything nature puts into the milk. Therefore, goat milk soap is extraordinarily gentle, and tender even to the driest skin.

It has been confirmed that alpha-hydroxy acids found in milk have rejuvenating and softening properties. And, unlike most mass-manufactured soaps, my handcrafted, cold-processed soap retains all of the moisturizing glycerin formed in the soap making process.
