About Us What would make a smart, young couple decide to sell their successful bed and breakfast in California (see below) and move to Vermont. Because, as it says above, they are smart & young! Well, maybe not so young anymore but coming to Vermont feels like coming home for Trish & Jim Gordon. Both originally from New England, we welcomed guests in Calfornia for five years and when the forest fires came close, decided maybe it was time to head back east. We bought the restaurant and 20 cabins in August, 2004 and its been a whirlwind. Certainly one of the most challenging times in our 10 years of married life, but also one of the most rewarding. |

Trish plays the chief decorator. She worked on the cabins and also added touches to the restaurant.

Sometimes the Vermont winter gets to Trish but she's cheerful when you call on the phone! |
We didn't come alone from California - that's Jack & Cappy in front of our B&B in CA. They live above the restaurant with us and love to go on hikes. We also have Abby & Dolly, two tabby cats who drive Jim crazy.
