Our mission is to influence current and future business leaders by documenting and providing evidence-based findings that enable them to effectively advance business vitality through embracing the value of safety, health, and environment management.

Robert W. Campbell Award

This international Award recognizes organizations that achieve business excellence by integrating safety, health & environmental management into their business operating systems. The Award aims to:

  • Recognize businesses that uphold SH&E as a key business value and link measurable achievement in SH&E performance to productivity and profitability.
  • Establish a validated process by which industries can measure the performance of their safety and health operations system against well-tested and internationally accepted key performance indicators.
  • Use a rigorous systematic review process to capture and evaluate the successes and lessons learned.
  • Share leading edge SH&E management systems and best practices for educational purposes worldwide.

The Award program is supported by a network of 18 Global Partners across five continents committed to promoting SH&E as an integral component of business management worldwide. Outreach activities include identifying potential applicants and nominating candidates for the international Review Panel.

Through case studies, the international Review Panel of experts and leaders, look for measurable SH&E achievements linked to productivity, profitability, and other important business indicators.
