Rose Bowl Tickets

The annual Rose Bowl game is held at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.

It's always hard to find Rose Bowl tickets no matter who's playing, but don't give up hope. If you're prepared, persistent and lucky, you might be able to get tickets at face value. Failing that, if you're willing to pay whatever it takes to get Rose Bowl tickets, you can get them. Here's what you'll need to do to get your Rose Bowl tickets.

Getting Rose Bowl Tickets at Face Value

If you only want to pay face value of $175 each for Rose Bowl tickets, you can try getting them from the original source. Rose Bowl tickets have sold out every year since 1947, usually well in advance. The chances of getting any of the few Rose Bowl tickets still available for general sale at face value are slim, but if you have the time, you'd might as well try this approach first. The Tournament of Roses Official Website tells you everything you need to get Rose Bowl tickets through them.

Using this approach you can get two tickets per order and make a maximum of two orders per person. You'll have the best chance of getting your Rose Bowl tickets if you try the two-pronged approach described below. Asking a friend to try at the same time will increase your chances.

  • Rose Bowl tickets go on sale in early December. Check their website for the exact date and time.
  • Log onto Ticketmaster a few minutes early and start trying to reserve the instant they're available. Keep trying to reserve your tickets until you succeed or they are all sold out.
  • At the same time, start calling the box office at (213) 365-3675. Keep calling until you're connected.

Getting Rose Bowl Tickets through Brokers

If you missed release date for Rose Bowl tickets or tried and failed to get Rose Bowl tickets that day, don't despair. Rose Bowl tickets will still be available through brokers who buy them to resell them at a profit, a practice which is entirely legal. Through a broker, you can get tickets even if the box office is sold out. You can also get tickets in bigger groups (up to 10 or 20), guaranteed to be side-by-side or "piggy-backed" one row behind the other. Expect prices to range from $600 to well over $2,000 for single Rose Bowl tickets.

Follow our tips to be sure you don't get tricked by unscrupulous dealers and use reputable brokers such as TickCo Premium Seating.
