Teaching Resources
The Registrar's Office is responsible for Axess, the Bulletin, and the academic calendar. Stanford University Libraries contain more than 8 million volumes and maintain an online catalog called Socrates. The Stanford Bookstore allows faculty to submit requests for required textbooks online. The Center for Teaching and Learning offers faculty workshops and other resources. Research Resources
The Research section of this website offers a full description of research resources. Frequently needed information includes listings of research centers, Stanford University Libraries, the Research Policy Handbook and the Dean of Research office.

Work-life Resources
BenefitSU, a division of Human Resources, provides details about university benefits. The Office of Faculty Staff Housing has programs to help eligible Stanford faculty and staff with housing.

University Policies
Academic and administrative functions are governed by a number of official Stanford policies, including the Faculty Handbook. The Department Chairs' resource guide lists contact information and relevant policies for offices across Stanford.

Recruitment and Development
Open faculty positions are listed by school. The Faculty Recruitment Office assists departments with their outreach efforts to develop diverse and talented applicant pools. The Faculty Development Office serves as a central information resource for both prospective faculty and newly hired faculty in their transition to the Stanford community.

Computing
The Computing & Communication website is the central source for information about Stanford's technology-based tools, from software and servers to cell phones and networks. Faculty can request technical assistance from HelpSU.

Getting Around
Parking and Transportation provides information about getting to and around campus, parking permits, commuter passes, and schedules/maps for the free Marguerite shuttle. TRIP is Stanford's on-line travel reservations service. Campus maps and directions are available in the Visitors section of this site.
