Founding President René Saint-Germain created Callio Technologies in December 2001, after writing his doctoral thesis proposal on computer security. Convinced of his project's business potential, he assembled a team whose strength resides in the dynamism, diversity and complementarity of its members.
In May 2002, Nicolas Bergevin joined the Callio team as a shareholder and Vice-President for Development. The group is comprised of specialists in information technology and information systems security.
Since its creation, many financial partners have teamed up with Callio in order to participate actively in the development of our company: Innovatech sud du Québec, the Business Development Bank of Canada, Canada Economic Development, Royal Bank of Canada and finally, Investissement Québec. Each of these partners is convinced that Callio Technologies will be a success; their support is a valuable asset. Callio has also been accredited to join the Sherbrooke Information Technology Development Centre (Centre de développement des technologies de l'information - CDTI).
