Remove Thumbshots
Removing thumbshots can have significant impact on your site. Directory editors including the Open Directory rely on thumbshots to help add, remove and review a site for inclusion into the directory. Once your site has been marked for robot exclusion, it may take a very long time before it get re-visited again if you ever change your mind.
If you do not wish to see thumbshots of your page, you may remove it by adding a robots META exclusion tag into the head section of your HTML page:
<META content="NOTHUMBSHOTS" name="ROBOTS" />
Thumbshots robot periodically re-visits your site and checks if it should be removed from thumbshots. Please read robotstxt.org exclusion for more information.
You can manually force the robot to visit your site by submitting the form below. Please note you must have already added the robots META exclusion to be properly removed. Your thumbshot will be removed usually within 72 hours.
