Windows Directions:
1. Click on the thumbnail of your choice. You should then see a pop-up window with a larger version of the photo you selected.
2. Right-Click on the image in the pop-up window and select "save as wallpaper". This should place the image on your desktop as a backdrop or "wallpaper" image as it is sometimes called.
3. If the image does not stretch to cover the background of your entire screen, right click on your desktop and select "properties" from the drop down box. Go to the "background" tab and find the box that says "Display"...(bottom right corner). In this box choose "stretch". Hit apply and you should now have your favorite photo as a desktop wallpaper.
Macintosh Directions:
1. Click on the thumbnail of your choice. You should then see a pop-up window with a larger version of the photo you selected.
2. Click and hold on the image in the pop-up window. In the box, choose "save picture as...".
3. Having saved the image, Mac users should then select "Control Panels" from the Apple Menu, and "Desktop Pictures" from the sub-menu. They should ensure that "picture" is selected in the left-hand pane of the Control Panel window, and click on "Select Picture..." to locate the downloaded image. Then click "Set Desktop" to apply it. If a desktop is already using a different picture it will be necessary to click on "Remove Picture" before the "Select Picture..." button will appear.
