The Winema National Forest is located in the heart of "Klamath Country" which is known for its blue skies and year-round sunshine. A wide array of recreation opportunities are available, ranging from the solitude of hiking a Wilderness trail to family activities in a social, developed setting at Lake of the Woods or Miller Lake. Camping, picnicking, fishing, boating and hiking opportunities abound. In the winter, snowmobiling, snowplay and cross-country skiing are popular activities.
Begin your visit to the Winema National Forest by choosing a category, to the left. Campgrounds and picnic areas are generally open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
