Mt. McLaughlin
The Winema National Forest is located in the heart of "Klamath Country" which is known for its blue skies and year-round sunshine. A wide array of recreation opportunities are available, ranging from the solitude of hiking a Wilderness trail to family activities in a social, developed setting at Lake of the Woods or Miller Lake. Camping, picnicking, fishing, boating and hiking opportunities abound. In the winter, snowmobiling, snowplay and cross-country skiing are popular activities.

Begin your visit to the Winema National Forest by choosing a category, to the left. Campgrounds and picnic areas are generally open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Early and late season use depends upon weather conditions. Call ahead (see the Contacts section for addresses and phone numbers) for the latest information.
