Ocean Discovery Day Camp
The marine educators at Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Discovery Center offer a fun-filled Ocean Discovery Day Camp in one-week sessions throughout the summer months. The camp program includes surfing lessons, windsurf lessons, visits to Maui Ocean Center, beach games, swimming, tidepooling and a snorkel cruise to Molokini. Campers learn about marine life and also engage in fun activities such as making squid ink tattoos and sand paintings. Daily and weekly rates are available. Held at the air-conditioned Ocean Science Discovery Center in Maalaea (next to Maui Ocean Center). The camp is based on Pacific Whale Foundation's 26 years of experience in delivering quality marine education programs for kids. Ocean Discovery Camp is staffed with friendly, enthusiastic and energetic professionals with years of teaching and summer camp experience. In addition to holding graduate or undergraduate degrees, our counselors are also CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certified, and hold Marine Naturalist certifications from Pacific Whale Foundation.
We're especially proud of our 1:8 counselor to camper ratio, ensuring that each camper benefits from our staff's enthusiastic and friendly attention.
Ages Levels: Children ages 6-12.
Dates and Times: Ocean Discovery Camp takes place Mondays through Fridays, from 8:30 am to 4 pm

Session 2: June 19 - June 23
Session 3: June 26 - June 30
Session 4: July 5 - 7 *(three days)
Session 5: July 10 - July 14
Session 6: July 17 - July 21
Cost of Program:
* $275 for 5 day sessions
* $175 for 3 day session (session 4)
* $65 for daily sessions
