Jim DeLaby will put all golfers at any level on a path to improve their games. Private, group and custom fit instructional programs available.

Yoga for Golf at Avila Beach Golf Resort

Yoga instruction is combined with clinics at the Avila Beach Golf Resort that will focus on the sound fundamentals essential to success in any or all of the three main elements of golf: the full swing, the short game and putting. Although the half-hour yoga or golf sessions can be taken separately, the best outcome is experienced when they are done consecutively, starting with the yoga session. This combined format is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings only. Single sessions are arranged by the availability of the instructors and the convenience of the students.

This Golf Series is coed and open to junior, adult and senior golfers. All classes will include skills associated with the game of golf including Full Swing, Video Analysis, Fitness, Club-Fitting, Short-Game, Putting and Rules of Golf. This series is a great way to meet new golfers, have fun with golf or just simply learn more about this great game. Sponsored by the Sea Pines Golf Academy in Los Osos and coordinated by Head Golf Professional, Gary Setting, PGA. This class meets the first and third Tuesdays or the first and third Saturdays of each month, June through November. Tues; 2-3pm Ladies; Tues; 3-4pm Men; Sat; 9-10am Juniors; Sat; 10-11am Men; Sat; 11am-12pm Ladies.

Join us at the beautiful Avila Beach Golf Resort and learn or tune up your swing or short game with Avila Beach Head Professional, Jay Farrior. These weekly swing clinics and short game clinics are open to all skill levels from beginner to the experienced golfer. $15.00 cost includes clinic with PGA Professional, Lesson Plans, Range Balls and Equipment.

The First Tee Central Coast

The First Tee is a World Golf Foundation initiative offered at Avila Beach and Blacklake Golf Resorts. The First Tee is dedicated to providing young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop, through golf and character education, life-enhancing values such as honesty, integrity and sportsmanship. The intent is to offer opportunities for improvement in the quality of life and create a platform where children can increase their potential for success.

San Luis Obispo County Junior Golf Association

Camps include professional golf instruction and skills challenges in on course play, rules, etiquette, putting, pitching, chipping, full swing. Camps are held at the Sea Pines Golf Resort, Hunter Ranch Golf Course or Cypress Ridge Golf Course and Dairy Creek Golf Course.
